A Bit of SonShine Kids Early Education

Preschool is a special part of our day.  We focus on skills necessary for kindergarten readiness, but we also focus on making it enjoyable to learn.

The Encyclopedia on Early Childhood Development states "Play-based learning is, essentially, to learn while at play."  

We have a few places that we love to go, every year!

We spend a lot of time learning about different themes, from bugs to Christmas!  It is a LOT of fun!

Treasures of extreme cuteness!

One of the kids' favorite things is helping cook!  We also try to teach other life skills, as well!

We love to learn about the many members of our community, from our mail carrier to our local sheriff's department and fire department!

Throughout the day, we keep track of what goes on with the children, from feedings, to naps, to diaper changes, etc.  These are a few examples.
